温泉街ならではのパン屋さん
雲仙温泉街のちょうど真ん中「古湯地区」にあるパン屋さん。名物「雲仙ばくだん」は温泉卵を丸ごと包んで揚げた揚げパンで、午前中には完売になる人気の品。それ以外にも約20種類ほどのパンが並びます。週末限定の「かせやプリン」は地元の人達にもファンの多いスイーツです。元々は温泉旅館だった名残から、外には足湯も設けられており、休憩スポットとしておすすめです。
A unique bakery in a hot spring town
This bakery is located in the Furuyu district, right in the middle of Unzen Onsen Town. The famous "Unzen Bakudan (bomb)" is a fried bread with a whole hot spring egg wrapped in it, and is a popular item that sells out in the morning. There are also about 20 other breads on the menu. The weekend-only "Kaseya Pudding" is a popular sweet among the locals. As a remnant of a former hot spring inn, there is also a footbath outside, which is a good place to take a break.
