イルカウォッチング
島原半島の最南端、有明海の入り口に面した港町「口之津」は、対岸の熊本県天草市五和町との距離はわずか5km。この早崎海峡には、潮流にのって多くの魚たちが生息し、約400頭のイルカたちが1年を通してえさを求めて回遊します。このイルカの群れが海面を泳ぐ様子やジャンプが観賞できます。
Dolphin Watching
The southernmost point of the Shimabara Peninsula, Kuchinotsu, the port town facing the entrance of the Ariake Sea is only 5 km away from Gowa-cho, Amakusa City of Kumamoto Prefecture on the other side of the river. Many fishes inhabit this Hayazaki Seto, and about 400 wild bound dolphins flock to play around in search of feed throughout a year. You can see this group of dolphins swimming and jumping on the surface of the sea.
