日本最古のパブリックゴルフコース
大正2年(1913年)に開場した日本に現存するゴルフ場では最も古いパブリックゴルフコース。設立に尽力したのは「倉場富三郎」。オペラ「蝶々夫人」で知られるトーマス・グラバーの息子です。コースは標高750mの丘陵コースで、自然と一体化した歴史を感じさせるコースです。広さ38万㎡のゴルフ場は、9ホールを折り返すハーフコースとの横に、9ホールのショートコースも併設されています。四季を通して大自然を満喫しながらプレーが楽しめます。
Oldest public golf course in Japan
Unzen golf course opened in 1913, and is the oldest public course in Japan. Tomisaburo Kuraba(Glover) made efforts to establish this course, who was the son of Thomas Glover, known for the opera "Madame Butterfly." The course is a hilly course at an elevation of 750M, and this historical hand-made course integrated with nature, occupy 380,000㎡. And there is an authentic short 9-hole course as well. You can enjoy this course during all seasons while appreciating nature.
